SOCIAL & ECONOMIC DEMOCRACY
MKENYA DAIMA PARTY (MDP)’s key ideological pillar as a party is to establish a prosperous, industrialised and modern nation, in which all citizens enjoy economic and social democratic rights and live in dignity in a social, economic democracy state and society in which all Kenyans feel at home as individuals, culture and heritage as enshrined in our party constitution under the Vision and Mission statement; Article 3.6 & 3.7 respectively.
As a people driven party, We are obliged to be an institution that champions the will and needs of the people’s agenda in accordance with the constitution and laws of Kenya through people will {directly} and representation {via their elected representatives}. Article 1.1,2 of the Kenya constitution.
Definition of Mkenya Daima Party Ideology
This is an ideology of socialism which advocates for economic and social democracy in capitalist framework that promotes social justice, equity and equality with legal framework through public dialogue, consultation and sound engagements with all stake holders, aiming for a consensus in this competitive environment and economy without violating rights of others.
As a party, our main agenda for social-economic democracy is to focus on the following four major areas (PEST):

POLITICS
Our main commitment is to ensure that our politics resonates with the will and needs of the people and not politics of deceit, propaganda, lies and the will of selfish ambitious individuals that has advantage or benefiting a few.
To ensure that the representatives in parliament, senate and ward levels initiate bills that are sound and target the welfare of all Kenyans of tribe, color and class.
To ensure that whoever is privileged to have any position in our party is beyond reproach and of good character, to avoid party wrangles that results to backwardness and lack of ethos. Everyone will be subjected to Chapter 6 and Article 91 of the constitution of Kenya.
We will ensure that all members, agents and representatives of Mkenya Daima Party participates actively on matters of importance in Kenya, with sober mind and advocates for fairness, accountability, integrity and progressive outcome on any engagement that they are obligated to do.
Our commitment is to support women in politics by implementing the 2/3 gender rule in all appointments which gives fair representation to women. Empowering women politically by leveling the playing ground through fair nomination process and none violence in a male dominated field.
We also commit to make sure that the marginalised, vulnerable, people living with disability, the minority ethnic groups and all special groups have equal chance to fairly participate in political processes in a democratic way.
ECONOMIC

Distributors – Wholesalers and retailers
Consumers – Workers
Intellectuals – Professionals
Investors – We are committed to enact, advocate for reforms and policies that will not only attract but also maximize profits that benefits all the stake holders not by intimidation and force but through dialogue with all parties. We will support for easy and quick registration and licensing for all investors.
Distributors – we will work closely with The Competition Authority and goods standardization authorities [KEBS] to avoid sub standard goods and consumer exploitation in quality and quantity of goods. We will also streamline the licensing and permits to avoid double payments.
Consumers – We will ensure that the consumer gets the right quantity and quality of commodities and at a fair price. We will also ensure that the consumer is well educated/informed about the products and services clearly as stipulated in the constitution of Kenya Article 46.
Intellectuals – We will ensure that our education is quality and competes with global level and standards, all professionals and intellectuals must be competitive to meet global rankings and be able to work and be respected in any part of the world.
SOCIAL
Our commitment is to engage the entire social demographics including gender, age, occupation, family, cultural and heritage backgrounds, education, health, race and ethnicity to create a proactive equitable public safety to strike a balance between classes and individuals.
Championing civil /human rights movement through equitable access to resources, previledges, and power and control in accordance with the constitution of Kenya Article 33.
Empowering and encouraging people to reflect and re emerge as visionary leaders by exploring powerful and relevant learning opportunities that help them in achieving their potential and organizing comprehensive leadership programs and short topics focused learning experiences.
Pioneering the use of innovative business practice and management frameworks to drive sustained high impact social changes across sectors
Partnering with other paralegal NGOs to provide pro bono services to the needy, victims who can’t afford legal fees.
ENVIROMENT
Our focus will be on sanitation, water conservation, carbon emission, afforestation, waste management, clean and green energy. To enlighten the masses on the effects of climate change and global warming.
TECHNOLOGY
Our commitment is to ensure all government institutions are automated and integrated for efficiency in service delivery, to curb corruption that is perpetuated with people who seek and those who offer services.
To set up an incubation center/hub for innovators (mind valley/creation center) to maximize the invention to meet all local and global standards.
To encourage and support by giving incentive and rewards to those whose innovation has made us proud locally and international.
To make sure that we own our innovations both locally and globally.
CHALLENGES
There are few variants that pose a challenge and cannot be regulated, but they need special attention as they occur:
a. Aging structure – man gets old and technology gets obsolete
b. Global aging – Depletion of resources
c. Migration – war, looking for pasture, employment, brain drain etc.
d. Population characteristics – population of human, animals, machines etc.
Closing Remarks
We respect and encourage the diversity of opinion. At the end of the day, we value what everyone brings to this organization, but we also tie it back to the fact that if behavior does not follow our policies, there will be accountability.
