Nairobi, Kenya — June 2025:
As Kenya continues to grapple with widespread corruption and a loss of public trust in leadership, the Mkenya Daima Party (MKDP) is calling on all citizens to reclaim the nation through ethical participation and civic responsibility.
In a bold statement during a recent grassroots mobilization event, MKDP Party Leader John Thuo emphasized that fighting corruption is not just a legal obligation—but a patriotic duty.
“Corruption is the greatest threat to our nation’s future. True patriotism means standing up for integrity, accountability, and justice,” said Thuo.
“We must no longer sit back. Every Kenyan—young and old—must take a stand against graft, dishonesty, and misuse of public resources.”
Integrity as a Core Pillar
The Mkenya Daima Party was founded on key principles including integrity, national unity, and economic empowerment. Thuo highlighted that integrity is not merely a buzzword for the party—it is a commitment to ethical governance and a transparent public service.
MKDP believes that restoring dignity to leadership begins with eliminating corrupt practices at every level—whether in procurement, public appointments, or service delivery.
Youth Must Lead the Charge
With over 70% of Kenya’s population under the age of 35, Thuo issued a special challenge to the youth:
“You cannot say you love Kenya if you tolerate corruption. If the future belongs to you, then you must own the process of cleaning up our politics and governance. Speak out. Vote wisely. Lead boldly.”
The party is actively engaging young people in its programs, encouraging them to take part in leadership, policy-making, and social accountability.
A New Dawn for Kenya
MKDP is positioning itself as a technocratic party focused on solutions, not slogans. Through digital platforms, public forums, and grassroots organizing, the party continues to educate citizens about their rights, responsibilities, and the role of integrity in national development.
Thuo concluded his address with a call to action:
“Kenya needs patriots who love this country enough to demand better. Corruption is unpatriotic. Let’s unite for a just, honest, and prosperous Kenya.”
